The I A S U S Sound 3 headphones are by far the best fidelity, base and volume I’ve had in my Shoei GT Air helmet. I used both the direct cord to my iPhone as well as a 1Mii Bluetooth 5.0 and found the bluetooth connection better (when set to music/headphones), though both worked fine. I’ve tried Cardo JBL 45mm, Sena and Syphon SoundPro. Both were either too low volume, too tinny or overall low quality sound. I use the speakers solely for music – not communications – so ability to hear them at fast speeds on a Harley with no baffles and ear plugs with high fidelity is a priority. I rarely review products, and get nothing out of it other than saving someone some time and expense if they’re looking for music in a helmet. And on another note, after reading the enclosed materials I finally realized the importance of speaker placement in helmet (dead center on ear drum, touching ear) – I wasn’t so careful with my previous installations, so perhaps the JBLs would have worked better than I thought.

I installed these speakers in a 6D motocross helmet. By first inserting them loosely in the ear sockets, I was able to have them playing and find the best position in the helmet. I cleaned both the speakers and helmet interior with rubbing alcohol and adhered them in with the supplied velcro pads. The speakers fit snug against my ears and have deep bass and a balanced full range. I would highly recommend this speaker kit for any helmet intercom or audio system.

It’s ok 119$ but almost 200$ with shipment and taxes is too much in Poland. Delivery from China doesn’t help. Noticeably better quality than original Cardo Edge speakers but still transfer of low frequencies is weak. That’s the trouble of helmets acoustics, a bit disappointing. Speakers are still too far from ear with some padding between. In the consequence bass is always insufficient. Should be ridiculously strong to obtain acceptable level. Or to use bone conduction???
Better but not perfect.
Regards.
