    How to Set Up Your NT5 With an Icom Radio

    1. Connect the dual pin adaptor to your radio’s accessory port.
    2. Fit the throat strap comfortably around your neck so the transponders sit softly against your skin.
    3. Position the transducers on your voice box (where vibrations are strongest) and adjust until volume and clarity peak. Placement varies by person.
    4. Use the inline PTT button to transmit or PTT on the radio. Some Icom models need the audio accessory mode enabled in the radio menu first.

    No. The IC-M72 uses a single pin connector, so it needs the single pin NT5 configuration instead of the dual pin version.
